Work Experience

On Wednesday the 24th of September,It was the day we started our work experience.For my work experience I went to a beauty salon.We started at 10 am and ended at 3pm.

I was very nervous because It was my first day and I was kind of worried.But as the day went on I shouldn't have worried at all.Everybody was very friendly and kind.

I wasnt the only girl on work experience there,their was also two other girls.We were told to clean and help out on anything that was needed,also answer the phone if it rings,as our supervisor was busy with students for a majority of the day.

Our lunch break was at 11:30 and it was until 12:30.It was handy having Halo Cafe next door as we didnt have to go far.When lunch was over we went back in and made coffee and tea for the students,then they left a while later.When they left we cleaned the room that they used.

Afterwards we lit candles and incense and placed them around the salon.They smelled lovely and they looked really nice.

Our supervisor informed us that next week we will be models, for the students that are studying beauty.We will also be working like normal as well.

I really enjoyed my first day at work experience and I cant wait for next week.
