On Monday the 15th of September we visited Carlingford Adventure Centre. We set off at 7am as it took approximately 2 hours to get to our destination. We stayed there for two days and one night.
When we arrived we were all so excited,we were brought in to a area where the instructors introduced themselves and gave us our keys to our accomodation.
We were divided in to two groups, group A and group B,I was in group A.First activity of the day was to do with water. We started off with Canadian canoeing,we stopped off at a cave and one by one we sat down and got ice cold sea water thrown on top of us.We also did other activity's while Canadian canoeing eg.went on a floating trampoline. This was lots of fun we were all so tired and exhausted afterwards.
When we returned from Canadian canoeing we had lunch then set off again to do activities in a sky climb course area.We didnt go on the sky climb course, instead we did other activities like a Human Maze and all activites that we had to work together as a team.
After our long walk back from our activities we had dinner then we had some relaxing time.Later on that evening we set off for a hike up a mountain and stopped off at a forest to play a blind fold game in the forest. This was lots of fun except for when I walked head first in to a tree.
After our hike we had free time until 12,then lights had to be turned off,we all got chinese take away and settled down for the night.
The next and final day we got up bright and early at 8am and went down for breakfast and then we were back into the water again. We all did kayaking which was very fun and we swam out to the trampolines and did fun games. After the water sports we did Laser Combat in the forest which was so much fun.Personally it was my favourite activity out of the whole trip.
At 5pm we all said our goodbyes and got on the bus for our journey home.Carlingford was a great trip and I really enjoyed it and I hope to return there in the future.
